I recently decided to try some Birchwood Casey Synthetic Gun Oil, and just ordered some from Amazon. Today I noticed the picture on Amazon no longer had PTFE on the can, as it had in older pictures. After some internet searching, I found a forum that stated that the government had forced the removal of the PTFE(teflon), and this had been confirmed when they called Birchwood Casey. The forum also said the PTFE(teflon) was no longer listed on the bottle of REMOIL, and Remington confirmed the removal.
I had based my ordering of Birchwood Casey Synthetic Gun Oil on all the good reviews, many of which were probably on the version with the PTFE. Has anyone been using the Birchwood Casey Synthetic Gun Oil WITHOUT the PTFE? If so, what do you think of it? Thanks, Jim
