Hey guys, I just bought some dardas 200 grain round nose lead bullets sized .433 for my 184 44 mag. I'm excited!!!!! Would rather have the 240 gain but wanted to try the .433 sizing as I have some .431 Missouri bullet semi wad cutters in 240 grains. I have been reading a lot about the 1894 bore size and have not slugged it since most everyone says they are sized a bit over the standard .429 or .430. Does anyone have a decent load for the 20o grain using 2400? As always, no strings attached, just a place to start tinkering. And I should be fine with the size, right? God Bless

I'll start it off with a suggestion to start at a mild 18.5 gr of A2400 and work up from there.

Can't speak for the 200's but the 180's are very very nice in my 1894 so I'd expect the same for these.
I'd start with about 8 gr of Unique and work up.
