Welcome to MO. While it takes some training to learn how to properly use the sight, the beauty of a peep is in how little you have to concentrate on centering the front sight in it. The circle close to the eye naturally wants to center the front sight.

Eli and the others are correct. Once mounted and sighted in, you can forget about you Skinner Sight while shooting. Just look "through" (Not At) the aperture and concentrate on the front sight, breath control and trigger squeeze.
