Here is a gun I rescued a few years ago. It was sitting on a gun rack at a local gun shop just waiting for me! It is a Remington model 8 made in 1908 or 1909, in the very hard to find caliber 25 Rem. "Man if it could talk" I handload for it of course. A couple of years ago I traded it to my good friend for something, I forgot what? 2 days ago I traded him an old Colt Mustang for it back. It will not leave home again...

Great trade and I am glad you got that fine old Rem Mod 8 back. I traded away a first Gen Colt Mustang for a '68 S&W Mod 30 in 32 S&W Long a couple years back. I will never miss the Colt...

Yeah, I got the Mustang Plus II on a trade. I am a transmission man. A friend at another shop need a transmission put together and I did it for the gun. So I had no $ invested, and I never shot it anyway...
