Saw this in ad and got it as I have an excellent condition 80 DL and 81 DL but this one had the original peep sight. So plan is to put the sight on one of my other DLs and use this one as a field gun or restore. The bolt action is very smooth and the bore is sharp and bright. Just a lot of wear on the metal but stock seems to be in very good shape. Paid what the sight was worth for whole gun. So now will take to range and see how she shoots. Leaning toward just maintaining and shooting as a field gun.

Looks a lot nicer than my project rifle.

Took rifle to outdoor range and at 50 yards with Wilson Peep Sight from Midway was 1 inch circle. I am very happy with her and will be a keeper.
