A friend loaned me his 308 reamer and gauges. This will be my first attempt to hand ream a chamber. The plan is to try it on one of my 30-30's to make a 307. I've been reading here and at beartooth for over a year on this subject. Spoken with Nonneman and another local gunsmith. I figure what the heck, If I don't get it right, This will be the gun I send back to Marlin to do a cowboy conversion to 38-55. Wish me luck. I'm not really as haphazard as this post might sound, just always into doing things myself. Anyone here actually done this one and with what results? Yeah I know, I should have started with the AI first. I'll get around to it. Love my 356ER and wanted a 307 first. :D Rick
