Came across a very nice Glenfield 778 pump 12 ga. today. Same gun as the Marlin 120 but cheaper wood, birch stock instead of walnut. 28 in VR Mod barrel, 3 inch chamber. Usually these guns have plain barrels. About 95% condition, only a few rust freckles that will clean up, looks like a safe queen, no blue wear anywhere. Best part - $149. I have had a 120 Marlin since college 45 years ago, excellent, all-steel guns, as reliable as a Rem 870, but heavy. My 120 has a Full barrel and I always wanted a Mod barrel - now for the price of a nice barrel, I got a whole second gun. I find a pawnshop bargain once in a great while.

Super! Nice find. Sometimes looks aren't everything.
