Around me that is a good price. Don't know where you live, but Marlins/Glenfields seem to bring more around here. I have been trying to get a Glenfield 30A with a short mag tube that is setting in a pawn shop for $300, covered with surface rust, 40% of the finish is gone, and he will only drop $25.

Has Marlin's in better shape with end caps and full length tubes priced for less. ??? Keeps telling me it's rare. All depends on what you are comfortable paying, I bought the first 35 Rem I saw in several years at a gun show, paid more than others would have, but it was what I wanted and worth it to me. I say go for it at 250, if they say no, offer more. DP
