My son just bought a brand new 4570 in the box, The serial numbers are on the upper tang and start with 91 and the barrel has rem marked on the barrel. He mounted a scope and said it shoots fantasic. The rifle was bought from Wholesale sports in B.C Canada.
He also said there was a 4570 there that had a mag tube all the way too the end of the barrel and it had 22" barrel and beautiful wood on it. On the box it said 4 shot? I have not seen his gun as yet,I will see it on the weekend. Steve!! ???

The 18.5" barrels with full length tubes hold 6+1, so either he got the barrel length wrong, it's a parts gun and/or the printing on the box is wrong, all of which have been know to happen.
