I am getting deer loads worked up (best accuracy so far from Sierra Gamekings at 100 grains over 33.5 grains of 3031, Win brass and WLR primers - 5 shot group covered by a quarter at 100 yards - that is pretty good for me) and have decided that my best bet is going to be the 85 grain TSX.

Does anybody have a favorite load for this combo that they wouldn't mind sharing? The Barnes manual recommends Hunter as the accuracy powder but I have not used that before.

I am shooting a CZ550 FS which has a 20 inch barrel.

yeah ammo is getting expensive but I haven't seen any loans for it yet ;D

I like R15 with all the 308 based cases. I never loaded the 85 TSx in the 243, however, I "did" shoot the older 85XBT out of a long barreled 6x47mm for 2900fps ( after neck surgery) I killed a big Axis buck and a Scimitar Horned Oryx in Texas with it. Wicked little bullet! I say just try and get all the velocity you can out of that 20" barrel. Have fun!
