Good day,
My name is Cameron Bissell. I don't post a tremendous amount on here but i do spend my time reading other posts.
Cutting to the chase I am a new EMT graduate looking for a job, Located in Eustis Florida (North of Orlando). With my wife working full-time i'm trying to pick up a part time job to earn a little extra between playing Mr. Mom and attending paramedic school. If anyone has a lead on a business looking for an EMT/ Ambulance driver/ care tech please let me know. If have held previous jobs in restaurants, grocery stores (Publix and WholeFoods), and Sales environments. I would thrilled to have a job as an EMT but will not pass up a sales or restaurant position if available.
Please Message me for a resume.

Thank you for your time,
Cameron Bissell

Do you know any LEO's or Firefighters? They may be able to give you a lead. Send resumes to any EMT services you can find. Also our Volunteer Fire department has full time paid EMT's so that may be a place to look. Cold calls dropping off resumes with a good cover letter is as good as any. If they say no, thank them and ask if they may know of an opening. Is there a employment agency in your area that specializes in EMT's, very many employers are using Temp services to hire as it is easier to weed out job canidates that way.
The best of luck in your job search.

How far north of Orlando? All of the theme parks have a staff of medical responders for insurance reasons. Check with them.
Casinos also keep emt staff as well for the same insurance purposes.

Thanks for the replies guys.

The ER hires EMTs as techs.
Frustratingly the 911 medical services are private and due to county ordinance only Paramedics may preform services in the back of the "bus" I can however drive the ambulance.
The Parks are a little over an hour away, I know Disney requires prior experience for their medical staff.
Fire services in the area will hire paramedics with a contract that they will become Firemen (the next step after medic school for me)
I'm planning on cold calling in other local agencies over the next few days. I hadn't thought of placement or temp services I'll look there too.
