I have a 1895CB and while working on the bolt, the ejector launched itself into neverland; in the past I have launched other gun parts but I always found them, but not this time. Anyway I ordered a new part. When it arrived I installed it got the extractor jam I have since read about. My response was to carefully Dremel the claw until the jam ceased. After reading up more on the jam, I see that bending the extractor is also a common fix. I am now second guessing myself and wonder, as the extractor wears, will it not extract. I make it habit to buy two of any item I launch, so there is another in the mail. I assume it will have the same issue, so I'm thinking of fitting the extractor in the event I need to replace the current extractor. Would you bend or Dremel? or does it not matter?
