I have a 1976 Model 1895 45-70. Seems to be a pretty popular gun as far as Marlin enthusiasts are concerned. I don't use it much and a buddy of mine is showing interest in buying it, or trading for it. It is in fair condition, not perfect. JM stamp on back left of barrel. I just don't know what to ask for trade or cash. If I could get some kind of idea on a price, I can gauge a proper trade. Any help would be appreciated.

Shoot 'em straight!!!

Nope, not Roland. Thanks for the help CG, this gun is selling on gunbroker for a minimum of $50 more than what I had in mind. Great to have a go-to source. Now, to find some ammo for a demo shoot.

If you sign up for a Gunbroker account, you can search for completed auctions. I look to see where bidding stops, even if it didn't sell.
