The barrel misalignment issue was caused by a faulty piece in our insertion machine. The machine had to be repaired and certain parts needed to be redesigned for more reliability. The receiver on your rifle is being replaced. The engineers are telling us that they will be available in May, An honest guess would probably be 6-8 weeks before we get the receiver and get your rifle repaired and returned to you. We appreciate your patience.

I'm finding this entire gun purchase to be more trying than its worth. A little more info with your repair updates would be greatly appreciated. I already know the rifle I bought had problems. I was hoping to get info like what you've found wrong with it, and what specific repairs you are performing. How about a time estimate. I am also wondering what caused the Barrel / Receiver alignment problem to start with. Is there anybody left at Remington that even cares about your customers or knows how to interact with them? I want to be able to brag about your customer service, but you're making it pretty difficult. Please contact me. E-mail is fine. Thanks.
These are my posts and response I finally got from the Remington customer service message service on their website. I was pretty happy when I first got this now I'm just confused. If the machine is broken and has to be redesigned, then how are they making them now and replacing rifles for other people that have been told they are getting one from the production line? I've had better service at a 4 year old's lemonaid stand.
