My friend has a nice 1894S in 45 LC and was wanting to sell it to me the other day. He mentioned that they did not make a whole lot of the 1894's in the 45 LC caliber. Does anyone know if this is true? I beleive it has a 18 1/2 inch barrel or maybe a 20 inch I can't be sure. Any help will be appreciated.

:hmmmm:...................I really don't know, and can't point to any hard data.............But I seem to recall that more '94's were on the build schedules in 357 and 44Mag than the 45 Colt........

IMO, ...the 45 Colt/94 is alot like the 336ER..................Not many wanted one when they were being made, but later they developed a cult following..........

If its in good condition, you can't lose any money on it.........FGI doesn't know how to build them anymore!...........:flute:
