Detachable Mag

I would love a clip for mine. I would have paid another $50.00 for my XL7 to come with a clip.

Probably could rig something up but I may just buy a Rem 700. The idea is not for hunting but a mag does make it easy to unload cause if they catch you with a loaded rifle in Colo you win a nice fat ticket.(in an automobile at least).

Seems like a trap door would be a lot easier to rig up than a magazine.
