Cross Bolts in classic stocks

Saw what looked to be cross bolts on the classic laminated stocks for the ruger 77's in long action. I've been thinking of getting one for my 375 ruger alaskan and wondered if these were real crosbolts or just plugs? I figured i'd have to bed it but feel with the 375 it would need real crossbolts as well.

The crossbolts are real and in there to prevent those stress areas of the stock from cracking. I had to shape the aluminum pillars so the rear on would fit in the Boyds stock of my XS7.
thats good to know. I figured i'd have to make the barrel channel a little bigger for the375, but the cross bolts should help with the splitting.
