I do alot of fly tying for some of the local fly fishing shops.
Also, tie up a lot of jigs for walleye and crappies.
Here are some jigs that are absolutely killer on crappies in the fall.

These are great for spring walleyes.

These are some trout flies that I tied for a local shop. They are tied on a size 20 hook.

Very nice work. I'm curious about the colors used in the crappie jigs. I cast and tie crappie jigs, too (only for personal use and give-aways to friends) and find that black, white, and yellow, seem to work best around here. Where-abouts do the turquoise colored ones work?

They are actually more blue than turquoise, the light kind messes up the color.
I am in western Wisconsin.

If you can use turkey feathers, let me know. I might be able to hook you up. ;)
