Picked these two up in Colorado at theCGCA show this last weekend.

Pope barreled Ballard schuetzen rifle in .32-40, with 30" half octagon and birdseye maple stocks. 1920's Cleveland made JW Fecker 6x scope.:



Ballard #6 Schuetzen with 32" half octagon .32-40 Schoyen barrel. Rosewood stocks, and German style early Marlin Ballard buttplate.

I see some cast bullet shooting in your future. A Pope barrel it doesn't get any better than that. Thanks for sharing and the great photos.
Pope barrels are indeed great, but a Schoyen doesn't take a backseat to Pope either. I have several Schoyen barreled Ballards and they will shoot under 1 MOA at 100 yds. with cast bullets.
