If you mean that you want to convert a 336W into an old style 336A model (which model has a 24" barrel) you will also be required to replace the existing barrel with a 24" barrel; but you can leave your existing barrel and convert your gun to a "336SC" (which had a standard 20" barrel). If you go with the "SC" look, there is nothing to do at the muzzle of your 336W; and the parts required are those already noted "New Fore-end, Dovetail mount, (2) screws for above, and Fore-end Cap", plus the dove-tailed mag tube hanger and screw (which means you will be required to cut two dovetails), and make sure you get a forend cap with a swivel stud. If you go this route, you will also be required to shorten your mag tube and spring; and the only evidence of the conversion (if done right) will be the small groove cut for the front barrel band screw on the underside of the barrel near the front sight.
