I have a 1978 JM stamped 336 in 30-30. I bought this new when I lived in OK in 1978. Started as a pistol grip, 20" barrel. Now to bring some new life into the old gal. Going to do a straight stock short barrel conversion. Bought a stainless steel straight lever. Trying to figure out if I wanted to cerakote it or what to do to get rid of the shines finish. I really like the color case hardening look. So here is what I did and how it turned out. Not too bad for my first attempt at this. What do you think?
