you guys are welcome to stop by if you ever get up this way!! The 1899 in the picture is a 30-30 s/n 226213. i will be posting a few pictures once in a while seems most here don't mind looking !! ;D Don

That's about as pretty as I've ever seen true Marlin case colors!

its a little light on the bottom in the front from where its been lugged, actually the takedown rifle with the long barreled 38-40 is about as good.

Boggles my mind that they used to come like that standard but today its hundreds of dollars to get done. Beautiful!

I'm biased, but I think Marlin had the best looking case colors of any maker at that time!

Very pretty. Case Color is one of my absolute favorite things to see on an old rifle or revolver.
