If anyone cooks breakfast in camp, here is one to try.
Sometime after the nap in the afternoon, cook a pot of rice and a pan of crumbled sausage. Next morning, take a couple cups of cold rice, cup or so of cold sausage and a couple or so of eggs and mix all together. Salt and pepper to taste and fry like pancakes.
You will be surprised how they brown up and set you up for a good day at camp. The eggs hold it all together, just spoon it into your skillet with a little bacon grease, flatten them a little and have at it. You won't be sorry!!

Leave out the nap but the food won't be as good in my opinion.

Sounds pretty good. We mix it all together down here too, exept we use chorizo-mexican style sausage along with onions, green chiles and tortillas. Next time you get a deer find a proccessor who can make chorizo-you won't regret it.
