I'm in the high desert area, where abouts are you in socal?

as i posted in a other thread i have 6 more days on my ten day waiting period for my marlin model 88 and im new to marlin owners. But i had a question about where i could go hunt here in socal or what im allowed to hunt. Also if anyone knows some good spots to plink here in socal that is off the radar please send me a pm and let me know about it.
