Picked up some bullseye for my 350gr Dardas. Any of you use a combo like this before? What's a good target velocity for 100 yards. That will give good accuracy.

Sorry 45-70. Yeah that's where I got the original info. Just curious about personal experience with a Guide gun.

used bullseye a lot in the past because I couldn't get my hands on unique. I used the data provided and found what my gun liked. both my guide and my sharps repo liked the stuff with 420gr cast

Glad I got my supply when things were BB (before barack) then I'm down to 2.5 lbs. I'm expecting that to last a while, right now I only use it for my 30-30s with a 110gn plated using 6-7 gns at a time. 1000 loads per lb.

That Bullseye in a 45-70 should give you a lot of loads per lb.

Magnum pistol powder should also work well in it. I use Alliant 2400 in my .32 Special, that only requires 9-10 gns per shot.

In the past I have used W296 in a lot of calibers but never in a 45-70

30-30s responded well to it with 110 gn jacketed round nose and HP's and 18gns.

I picked it up specifically for 45-70. I still have some H335 for the M-4's and .308 and a little Win231 for .45 and 9mm.
