Hey folks, I just picked up a 444P. I bought some Hornady 265gr leverevolution rounds for it.
My question is I am planning on doing a 50 yard zero.
What will be the POI at 75, 100 yards and 150 yards?
I can't find any tables or graphs that show the bullet drop for a 50 yard zero.

This rifle will only have iron sights. Thanks!!

Hornady web site list the BC as 225, and the standard FP is 189. Muzzle speed is 2320 according to Hornady. Using the Speer Manual #14 tables for BC of 225 at 2300fps a 50yd zero translates to 0.0/50, -0.4/100, -3.2/150, -8.6/200.

Happens for me that a rifle sighted at fifty yards, can be off windage wise a few inches at 100yds, that could be even more significant further out. My two cents, would be first to zero at 100yds to set the windage, then back off to fifty yards resetting only the elevation. Or sight in at 100yds with a zero .4 low.

Thanks guys sounds like I will just do a 100yd zero. Which puts me .4 high @50yds right?
Good enough for what I am trying to accomplish.
Cheers!
