Yah, I know, I'm an idiot for trying to drive the factory front sight out of the dovetail but it is what it is. Where in the world do I find a new ramp! I have looked extensively through both Midway and Brownells with no luck. Most of the replacement ramps I am finding either mount with one screw or the two screw holes are not 1" on center like the factory one...I guess I should mention this is for my MXLR that already has a Skinner rear peep mounted on it.

I also guess I should give some of my own background seeing how this is my first post here. Not a gun newbie. I have been reloading and shooting for over 20 years, reload all types of centerfire rifle and pistol cartridges as well as shotshells with every kind of shot you can imagine. I have done some minor gunsmithing, mounting and headspacing barrels, drill and tap for sights, replace triggers, all that stuff. No major machining of any kind.

You would think I would be able to find a replacement part and put it on but..........help?

We can make you a new ramp. I dont put hood slots on them but we can make one for you.

You should be able to get that part right from Marlin. I say should because I have not dealt with them since the plant shutdown / move.

When I get home from work in the morning I'll look in my parts box and see if I have an extra.
If I have one that'll work, and I'm pretty sure I do, you are welcome to it.

Hey, thanks all!

Parson, that's good to know and I'm sure you could build anything sight related on these guns. I am enjoying your rear peep and have been using your "front sight" information (on the website) to figure the correct height front sight I need for it now that my sight radius is 26.5" after adding the peep. I came up with a height of .260". I was driving out the factory sight when I broke the ramp - ack. :-[

Yes! That's it...I followed the link you gave and clicked schematic which confirms that's the part. Brownells is not the easiest website to get around and I guess I wasn't searching for it correctly. Thanks.
