Nutmeg laminate just arrived, looks great, snowday here so 10-year old daughter already wanting to start finish sanding. Now maybe she'll let me shoot my walnut thumbhole 60.

So I just ordered a Boyds' Thumbhole Stock for my Marlin 60. How do you guys finish this stock? I was thinking about finishing sanding and and 4-6 coats of Tru-Oil.
