bought myself another 336...this one being a 1983 cs model.....it is a little beat up, scratches on the barrel and stock

but i bought it b/c of the price, and for what im going to use it for..(woodchucks) i figured i cant go wrong

paid 245 dollars for it, with a tasco 3x9 scope.....not a bad deal i dont think

no no, i got it of michigangunowners.org, its a place for free gun classifieds for michigan people obviously

but i had a wanted to buy ad, he send me pics....i told him i would take it, hopefully pick it up tonight or tommorow night

this will be my 2nd marlin 336, and one model 60 .22

this one sounds like it was used, but was always cleaned and maintained...but the stock is beat up, some bluing coming off...but i can take this to the woods and use it without having to worry if i scratch it or not....should be fun!!

congrats! I put in a bid on one at an auction here in upstate NY Monday night. Sounds just like yours and even had a 3-9x Tasco on it. Older gun, with a little bluing wear but in good shape. Couldn't attend the auction, so put in a bid for $225 and evidently it sold for more than that.

but i gotta find a marlin texan in 30-30....that would be sweet...they are not common around here in michigan
