pull it as far back as you can, and then pull the trigger back (safety has to be off) while pulling back on the bolt. That is what works on my 981t.

Some need a short swift back stroke while holding the trigger back safety off. A pain but that's the way they are built, the tolerance is very small on getting all that right and still be able to cock and fire safely.

Got it. Yea it needed a swift kick alright.
Thanks a bunch. Took her out on a squirrel hunt. Wanted to get her cleaned up.
