Salutations from the 9th Mississippi Cavalry, SCV Camp 1748.

I am a War of Northern Aggression re-enactor, and am looking for the best muzzleloading double-barrel shotgun for tactical re-enactments.

i can not use a shot gun with screw-in chokes for obvious reasons, and what I have seen at Cabela's is not acceptable.

Where can I find a double-barrel shotgun that would be period authentic for the 1860's.

No offense to Unionists.

What about Dixie Gun Works? They usually have about anything a guy needs. I see that you're a reenactor, have you ever reenacted at Gettysburg? I was there for the anniversery in '01 I was really impressed.

Dixie Gun Works has a double barrel 20 Gauge on opening page for $650.00. Hope this points you in the right direction. Have a good time down there...
