Figured I'd break this new forum in so here 'tis.

What's the biggest caliber in your safe? i.e. bore diameter.

Mine's a mere 30 cal.

My 45-70 guide gun and it will most likely stay that way as my choice of DG rifle if I should be so fortunate is .416 Remington( but I don't own that one yet.)

Since you posted this to the Rifles Board I'll assume you specifically wish we stick to that. In my case it's a 444SS Marlin; bore diameter of .429"

It is a very accurate rifle with which I am VERY, VERY, ;D pleased.

I suppose I should have been more specific, but yes I was speaking of rifles.

OTOH my 12 ga has the biggest bore diameter, and the wife's .357 outsizes my thuddy thuddy. 8)

If I can cheat a little, I have a 12 bore ball gun, a Martini that has been rifled to shoot .735 RBs. Other than that, the biggest is .45-70.
