Just picked up a Sears Model 45 35 Rem. The gun was improperly stored and needs some bluing touch up on the barrel. What cold blues have you guys had the best luck with ? Thanks in advance.

I have had pretty good results with the Birchwood Casey Super Blue, then finishing it with Kroil penetrating oil.

Anyone tried the Felt tip touch up pen, I think birchwood makes it. Presto Gun Blue Pen its called.

Have tried the Birchwood Casey and was not at all happy with it. Difficult to use compared to using a Q-Tip and the liquid Birchwood Casey SuperBlue with brake cleaner for a prep and Kroil to set it.
