H&R was bought out and shut down.

I believe 'smith John Taylor has made a number of them. As I have read elsewhere in MO's, Outpost75 has one .32 H&R magnum, his preferred bunny gun of choice.

Yes, John can build you a barrel from scratch, but it is NOT what people would call "inexpensive."

But if you really want something different and well executed, all it takes is money. Still less expensive than a new lever gun.

This is a 10x25mm rimmed, made by neckling down Starline .44 Russian brass to .40 cal. Fires 250-grain bullet at 780 fps with 3.5 grains of Bullseye, or 1340 fps with 16 grains of IMR4227 in 22-inch rifle or 660/1080 fps, respectively, in a 5-inch revolver.
