I’ve been working a lot of over time lately and decided to reward myself with a new Bark River Puukko Knife. Puukko is a Scandinavian style utility belt knife. The Bark River version has a 4.25 inch blade and overall length is 8.75, steel is CPM 3V. This steel holds an edge real well but can be stubborn to sharpen. The scales on mine are a Maple Burl with brass pins. The grind is convex which requires a leather strop to sharpen. It came with the leather sheath.

This knife is razor sharp out of the box and is my fourth Bark River knife. The scales have a slight palm swell and fits my hand like a glove. Love Bark River knives!
Thanks for looking!

I am curious about the strop to sharpen it. Do you charge it with diamond paste?
Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) emulsion from Bark River. It’s second to diamonds in hardness. The strop is mounted to a board and is two sided so you can go from one grit to another.
