Looks mighty good! I'd like to try that, but finished the last of 2019's venison last week!
Now I'm REALLY looking forward to this year's hunt! It's scheduled for mid-November with long-time friends in Texas. Hopefully will get lucky and find a young sow as well!

Those are also very good dropped into a deep fryer. Seems like it was about one minute per lb. Comes out crispy on the outside and juicy red in the middle. My favorite way to cook deer back straps and tenderloins. Now my belly is growling at me.....

I butterfly mine, use a brown sugar and honey mixture inside then wrap them in bacon and cook them on the Traeger.
Delish.
