Yeah welcome 456, a while ago I had some correspondance sent to me stating that they were giving thought to making lever and pump action rifles restricted rifles, asked my local cop to follow it up for me and have heard nothing. Can only imagine the uproar from shooters when they are told that their old 30/30's are an evil rifle now and must be destroyed ??? :

Well, here's something you all probably don't know but Rebecca Peters and John Crook, that freak that runs Hand Gun Control Aust. and her anti gun organisation, are both funded by none other than billionaire socialist/communist George Soros.

Rebecca Peters lives most of the time in London with an armed guard 24/7, all paid for by George no doubt and he probably gets other benefits when in London. Serious threats against her life have been made and I guess that explains the guard. I Wonder why? She's an absolute bitch but serves George's purpose very well.

The same over here... hypocrites who want to strip the guns out of normal ppls hands and have their own armed bodyguards even partly financed from taxpayers.
If they are convinced that crimes will not happen any more if the guns are stripped, so why do they need a protection?
It is like the idea of communism first the whole world has to be like that, then it works!

G'day Ernst.On 28th April 1996 a situation occured, or was created/engineered, where an individual armed with a couple of semi-auto rifles killed 35 people and wounded 21.
In response the Lib Govt. of the day took the oppotunity to ban ownership of all semi-auto rifles and shotguns and all pump action shotguns.

Further to that, the only difference is we now have a much heavily regulated firearm ownership situation and licenses are much more expensive and we don't have the availability of the firearms Oz mentioned. The incident that started all these problems has become a conspiricy theory in as much as it has been bandied around the country that the firearm was a AR15 or a M16 that was stolen from the Victorian Police and was sold/given to a lunatic by the name of martin bryant who commited these hienous crimes.

Kiwi Shooters under attack also.

Last year NZ shooters took the NZ Police to High Court and won. The police were attempting to reclassify thumbhole stocks as free standing pistol grips. We had that "opinion" over turned.

Now the Police have had their pet government table a change to the arms act which will give the Police the complete right to decide what is a Miltary Style Semi Auto rifle. They have even talked about claasing bolt action rifles as such based solely on their caliber ( ie .338).

The government tried to sneajk this in under urgency orders but the firearms owners here heasded them off and forcedthem to consult with shooters.

If this law change passes here then the police will be handed the power to make changes to NZ laws as they see fit without parliament involvement.

There is a hardcore number of senior police officers completely opposed to NZ citizens having any sort of firearm and these are the persons leading this coup.

If the police get this right we are on the slippery slope of a police dictatorship here in NZ.

We are fighting and fighting hard.

O.k. I understand, when I look around the world I also start to believe in conspiracy theories.
Especially in our western "democracies", the way to deal with private gun-owners give this impression quite obvious. :-\

Hi Chris,
that's what I'm afraid of, that a certain kind of ppl takes over the power, and no one else is able to defend themselves with appropriate weapons considered to theirs. That's the reason why I'm an fan of the second amendment and would love to see this privilege around the world. I think it would be not possible in the USA, for no one, to form out an dictatorship like in WWII in Germany, Spain, Italy, Soviet union etc.
As long as ppl have the possibility to fight again this way of treatment they will do it former or later.
The actual gun shooting in Norway has confirmed for me the sheepdog concept again.
If someone would have been armed from the camp side or the support staff from the juvenile, this fake policeman would have had no chance at all to kill so many ppl.
