Howdy Matt,
I seem to be having some random issues with my PM's not reaching folks so I'm just gonna post a thread.
Did I read somewhere that you're wanting a smooth butt stock for that 1895G you just got? Considering sanding yours maybe?
I have a butt stock off my 1895CB. It is brand new but it ain't perfect. The left side marriage to the receiver is a bit rough and there's some chatter marks around the tang slots. It could all be cleaned up. Visually speaking it would be pretty simple, if you wanted to do it right it would take a little more work but I don't think anything too major and for sure Leverdude and Swany could help.
It isn't terrible by any means but like I said, it will need a little personal touch to make it right.
It's dark so you'd have to decide if you want it as is with your current forearm or refinish them both.
Anyway, it's yours if you want it for lets say ten bucks for shipping.
No worries if you don't want it.
Just let me know.
