For those selling firearms online where as shipment is required, here's a link to an FFL verification website that will enable you to check the validity of the FFL you've received:

Just so everyone understands that the purpose of this is to see if person has a valid FFL.All a FFL needs to do is supply a private person is the Name on his FFL and the first 3 and last 5 didgetsof the FFL.Sending a copy of the FFL is not required.If sent FFL to FFL a signed copy is required.OB
