So, A few months ago my neighbor is having a yard sale and I ask him "Got any guns you want to get rid of?"
He says "nah, I got a Marlin 39 and a Winchester 94 but they aint fer sale."
I say "O.K. and if you ever want to sell 'em I'd like to take a look".
He said O.K. "if I ever cant pay the Dr. Bills I'll holler at ya"

Fast forward to yesterday
I get home from work and see that the neighbors are having another yard sale, so I walk over to say hi and look around a bit. I ask if he has any guns for sale. GET THIS. He says "I sold 'em both this mornin"
I say "How'd did you do on 'em?"
He pokes his chest out and says " I got $75.00 a peice for 'em". I was speachless.

IDIOT!

My Goodness Wally!!!

No Wonder Arkansas lost their Bowl Game!!!! Good Game Though,, and I was Pulling for You'all.

Maybe I need to make a Trip to Hog Country and see if I can find any more of those High Priced Marlin's over there...

If Your Neighbor has a Puter,, tell him to go to GunBroker.com and see what they are going for!!! On the other hand,, maybe not,, he might have a Stroke,

Joe :)

This may be a terminology issue.

I would say that your neighbour is not an "idiot".

IMO, there is a word that describes him: it starts with "a" and ends in hole!

Sincerely,

JDP

I bet the person who purchased them had nicer things to say about your "neighbor." ;D Too late for the guns, but it sounds like you might want to cultivate a closer relationship with that neighbor so next yard sale, if he had a nice 15 hp Johnson outboard on the table for $50.00 you will get first bid. But I must say your luck in the matter sounds very familiar to me.

I told him that he left at least 250.00 on the table. I would have bought the things at a fair price and held them, if he wanted them back in a year i'd of taken my money back for them. but noooo, some lady from God knows where comes by and gets the deal of a lifetime on two nice rifles.

I'm still kinda upset about this one.

IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bubs,

I am trying to piece this together. Are you telling us that those two guns were only worth 400.00, the 150.00 he sold and 250.00? Not seeing the condition, aren't they worth at least about 400.00 a piece?

I'm saying that he could've walked into any pawn shop out there and got 200.00 a peice for the guns without haggling at all. I am sure a pawn shop would've asked 400.00 each.

In a year, alkpon. You are the first a-hole i've run into on this sight. Go back under your hole, and learn how to behave.
+1

Dude is stinking up a couple of threads now.

They'll be banned soon enough.
