Hi All, after nearly a year of a wait, and having been unable to get a new 1895CB, my new to me Marlin should be with me in a coupla days. Going by what I've learned already on this site, she was made in 2001 having a serial number starting with 99, and I believe this was the first year the 45/70 Cowboy was built, is that correct and was it a good year for them?? Hope to get down the range this Sunday and throw some heavy lead at paper for a start!! I havn't seen any other posts from Ireland yet but maybe I'll hear from someone local.
