Defiantly change the buffer and spring (16.5#) for the 9mm and (21#) for the .45. Prevents the dreaded cracked stock. Great rifles, have two nickel 9's, a blue 9 and a blue 45. The 9 can use the Smith and Wesson magazines. 6906 model, usually easier to find than the OEM Marlin magazine. Enjoy

Welcome! I love my Camp 9. Family member found it in a in-law’s garage. New in box. Still had the owners manual attached to the trigger guard. Of course the buffer was a pile of plastic crumbs. Thanks to the info on this site I stripped it down and repaired it before shooting it. I even used it in a few pcc matches for fun.
