I almost have the a1 back together. The stock is going to look great that you supplied.
1st: How is the ejector held in place. there looks like there is a punch spot.
2nd: When I have a long riflle bullet in the chamber and I try to eject it, the pin ejector stops it before the unfired bullet head can exit the chamber.
I carefully examined the ejector on the A1 I have. It's a pin driven through a hole in the receiver. Measuring from the front shoulder of the receiver, the (approx.) center of the ejector pin is 1.495" to the rear. The length of the ejector pin inside the receicer is .263 as nearly as I am able to measure. If the location of the pin is off, it won't allow the cartridge to eject normally. There's really only one place for it, and my GUESS is that it's a trifle long. Anyway, that's my off-site diagnosis. SW
