I was going to post this yesterday but was just too busy. I was at the Cabela's in Lehi, UT Friday morning and saw a special on CCI small rifle primers @ $19.00 per thousand. It has been a while since I saw primers this low but I am unsure whether this special is for all Cabela's stores.

The chicken enchiladas lunch was a special too but that's another story :).

I'm not a huge fan of Cabela's, but anyplace that has reloading bargains AND gourmette food is okay in my book. 8)

They just opened the Cabela's in Allen, TX this weekend... it looked like the 4th of July in there, parking chaos-wise! I probably won't be going in there for a while... till all the newness wears off.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, if they are selling primers for $19/K, quick-draw the wallet!

Our new Cabela's opens next month on the 5th, if it's like any of the other Cabela's I've been in it'll take well over a year for the "NEW" to wear off!
That primmer deal will probably be long gone by then, even if it aint they'll be all gone before I get there after work!

I've known over a yr they were coming to Oregon. I'm happy they chose spf. and not Bend area. They will not beat Bi-mart and I'm good with that but it will be great to have a store with so much variety. :)

BiMart does usually have the best price on reloading stuff, primers are priced high, but they sell only the really popular items, it will be nice to see what Cabela's has, or doesn't have on hand? :)

I just looked at their website and they are $30.99.

Was her special just for your store or did just miss it?

I wished there was a Cabelas near the upstate of SC... All we have are Bass Pro Shops ::)... Not they are bad but I like Cabelas store brand way better than the Red Head Store brands...

Anyway, $20 p/1000 is a great price!

Bi-mart ???????????

Had people telling me how good their prices were.

Checked them out in Clarkston, Wash. Bought a Pound of powder but they didn't have the second kind I wanted.

Sooooooo, crossed back to Ideeeeeeho and went into the Black Sheep. WELL what do you know, they not only had the second powder, but flat beat the socks off Bi-mart for prices.

Unless push comes to shove, probably won't be a big customer of Bi-Mart.

Besides, Black Sheep is a real, honest to goodness sporting goods store AND a couple miles closer to home.

Never been to a Cabela's. Yet.

Keep em coming!

Don't know how that all works . Idaho have sales tax like Washington does. Oregon doesn't yet but 35+ yrs. comparing
local gun shows, gun stores and payless/K-mart/wally world/Fred Myer/sportsman warehouse/Gi Joes /Dicks, Bi-mart is my
trusted store. Not that I don't play in them all, sometimes they have different products.
Another factor is with the big buy off the market is adjusting down. Iv'e seen powder drop $5 a pound.
All that said glad your local store is treating you right. ;D

Yep, Ideeeeeeeho does have a sales tax. Slightly lower the that found in Washington.

Something funny is going on behind the scenes with the states and big businesses.

BIG!!!!!!! tax breaks??????????????????

Moscow, Idaho and Pullman, Washington are "about" 8 miles apart. I have been in the area for pushing 50 years and the main shopping area was always Moscow, or Lewiston, Idaho (about 35 - 40 miles), or North to Spokane. But NEVER in Pullman, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recently, Walmart has shut down their stores in both Moscow and Lewiston and opened super stores in Clarkston, Wash. (just across the Snake river from Lewiston), and in Pullman, Washington.

The Cosco for this area in is Clarkston.

Clarkston is also the location for the area's Bi-mart.

Would be interesting to know just what has caused this change after so many years.

Anyway, the Clarkston Bi-mart was kind of a non-experience on my recent trip to the Lewiston/Clarkston area. Limited stock/selection and after stopping at the Black Sheep, clearly marginal prices.

If they want to grab a hunk of the shooting and reloading business in this area, they have some work to do.

Keep em coming!
