I recently replaced the front and rear sight on my .357. Marbles tang rear and Lyman globe front. Much better for my 72 year old bi-focaled eyes !

If you don't mind how much did the rear sight cost you? I'm going to be getting my Rossi .44 Mag out of layaway this month and I want to put a peep sight on it.

That makes a very nice target rig. I have 3 rifles set up that way. I don't like the tangs or tunnel sight for deer hunting. Tang is Ok
for squirrel but front blocks to much light. Snap shooting at running deer I got a tang in eye brow and bent eye glasses with a 45/70.
I got the bifocals too, most of my woods deer guns are set up with Lyman reciever sights and blade fronts. Just got a 99 Savage. I
have a original tang for it. I'm going original Iron sights with it.
