Hello all.
I have a 80 DL that I took the extractors out of to clean some gunk out from behind. When the pins came out I did not notice the small notch on one end. I am not sure which way they go back in. It is the old style bolt with two extractors . Also if someone knows what years they used the bolt that has a sharp bend down then bends out right at the end it would sure be helpful to date the rifle.
Thanks To All

Did you ever determine how the pins went back in? I have a 80 DL that I just bought and it has one extractor that fell out when I had it on the range with my son. I found new extractors, pins and springs at Numrich. I noticed the notch on the pin as well and can't seem to locate information as to what the correct positioning is or if it makes a difference. I was pleasantly surprised though that the rifle cycled just fine with only one extractor. I believe my son has found a new love.

Thanks,
Craig
