If you didn't bang the scope, and you didn't change ammo it' s hard to tell. A foot off at 25 yards sounds like scope problems. Did you re-zero your scope after the "drop" and see if the problem happened again?? ~Andrew

I thought it was the scope so I put a new one on the rifle, same problem.

I looked at the muzzle, maybe one broken scope and a bad new one.

Something isn't coming through to me. When you put the new scope on you zeroed it in for 25 yards, and then the rounds suddenly started to drop a foot again? Odd for two scopes to malfunction in exactly the same manner. ~Andrew

Did you barrel sight the second scope?

When you peer down the barrel from the breech does the bore appear perfectly round or somewhat oval? I know it sounds like a dumb question but I have spotted bent barrels in this manner. Of course you would know if anything happened to the gun that could have bent the barrel.
