Opening weekend of Spring turkey season I decided to take the 782 I picked up just before Christmas last year. She is a tack driver love my 1894m's but neither of em are as accurate the 782. Took the turkey in the neck just below his head at about 40 yards. The pig was just a touch over a 100 yards. CCI 40 grain hollow points did a number on both of em.

Packs a punch for an old rimfire doesn't it. I've got the 925 and 783 which I haven't tested for kill shots nearly that far. Since Kansas bans
hog hunting, the biggest predator I've put down were a couple of head shot coyotes between 50 to 75 yards. I wasn't sure what the mag
could do against a heavy hide hog, but the bullet sure went in deep enough.

Nice weekend! Wish I could use a rimfire on turkey's around here, but sadly it's shotgun only, not as much fun in my opinion.
