I was out in the back yard sighting in the scope(cheap bushnell 4x32) on my model 81 at 30yards. I heard a scurry in the woods to my right and when I looked there he was, a little gray. I watched him for a minute and he stopped out on a limb, perfect opportunity to see how well the scope was dialed in. I guessed the little guy was about 75 yds off so I aimed about 2" high. Breath in, half out, BANG, FLOP!
72 paces later I found him, he was laying there so peaceful, with both ears bleeding.

That Is the longest kill shot I have ever made on anything, A 10pt buck wouldnt have made me more proud

A model 81 should be capable of that kind of shot about every time. if it shoots as small as 1" at 50yds, then the group should be no bigger than 1 1/2" at 75yds. anyway, good shot.
