I own 2, a 1960 and a 1967 model that looks like yours. On the extraction problem. Check to see if there is a dent in the barrel, were the firing pin hits the shell. Could be from dry firing in the past.

Nope no dent. Will have to post some updated pics. Have changed scope set up and did a refinish on the stock. Have found it does get dirty fast but take down is quick. It likes hornaday Hornady Manufacturing Company :: Ammunition :: Rimfire :: 22 WMR
1 inch groups at a 100 all day.

Have a 20X scope on it now and I would not want to be within 200yards of it.

Have always shot the Win. ammo. If I could find some Hornady, I would like to try it.
Just have a 10x scope on mine.
Made nice head shots on tree rats all day long. Planning on a peep sight on the 1960 model, but haven't tried it yet.
